The title is “Impossible Photography” correct? so you typing “His work IS stunning, but it’s not photography” is really insightful. If it is IMPOSSIBLE photography..that means it could not possibly be a photograph!!!
I’m a photographer and I totally agree with you.
Awesome
Perfeito!
I believe “digital imaging” works better.
Photography is the art of taking fine photos. What about the art of creating fine images from image editing software? Shall we call it ‘photoshopy’?
please look at my video, i need to improve my photography and drawing skills to start my career
thanks
Where is his Tutorial website?
I agree with you, but I think it is not a good idea to draw a hard distinction between photography and image editing. A photographer will use many tricks to make his photo look the way he wants to, which can save a lot of editing. But also there is a gray area on both sides. You can achieve colour effects by using a software tool as well as you can by using a tinted film (or a creative mode on your digi-cam). You could achieve similar effects to what we see in the video by double exposure too.

Thank you Erik Johansson!!!!!
@shacktime you dont understand thats what everyone does on youtube its not personal
nothing is impossible – in the human mind
Haven’t read all the comments, but to throw in my two cents here, this isn’t photography. This is using photography as a medium for his art. His work IS stunning, but it’s not photography, it’s photoshop.

Please check out my photography and let me know what you think. I’m a new photographer just messing around. The video is on my front page of this channel. I would really really appreciate it!
its like a real version of surrealism
I did not mean to come across as rude, but as long as you are asking, I sing rather well. Check out my channel.
For most it is finished. They take a picture and upload it to Facebook and they’re done. This is what photography mostly is nowadays to the common people. You don’t seem to understand what he said at all.
the only thing that limits me is porn
Well said. Reminds me of “How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb?” Four, one to change the light bulb and three to say I could have done that. Which boils down to the fact that you (haters) DIDN’T do that. All you haters, grab your cameras and think outside the f-ing box.
Jeez! Scrolling down I see nothing but one shallow, bitter criticism after another. WTF is wrong with all of you? No talent and just bitter? This guy is one of the best, most creative Photoshop artists going. How many of you have what it takes to offer TED something worth doing a demonstration on?
He should have said, “The only thing that limits us is our shi**y f-ing attitudes.”
Y’all are cowards.
Which is much better than having nothing more than a cynical a-holes attitude.
What can YOU do? Pony up.
